ITALY!

I have never been to a more beautiful place! I loved it so much! It would take too many words to describe all that we did so I will just nutshell it and post pictures. You can imagine for yourselves...

I owe it all to the wonderful families who opened their hearts and homes to these amazing and brave students.

There were about 80 of us CETUSA people and companions.

We landed in Rome and took a bus tour before going to our hotel.

The next 2 days we had on our own in Rome. We walked all over and got lost. I LOVED getting lost. We saw more of the city that way.  We felt so safe there. It was amazing.

We headed south and couldn't stop in Naples like we had planned. There was a protest about the education system. We did stop to see the city from above.

We spent the rest of the day in the ruins of Pompeii.  Words can not describe the feelings there. I was in awe the whole time.

We stayed in Sorrento the next 2 days. One day to see Sorrento and the other a boat trip to the Isle of Capri.  Our room had the most amazing view!

Thank you again to my amazing families, students and schools who made this possible!

Park City, Utah!

The first outing planned was a trip to Park City, Utah. The kids had a blast!

We began our day up at the Olympic Park and the students could choose to go on the zipline, bobsleds and the Alpine Slide.

Some chose to go on just one or two and a couple did all three!

By the time everyone was done we were all starving so we headed in to Historic Park City to eat.
They all wanted pizza so off to Main Street Pizza & Noodle we went!

Student Arrivals!!

WOW!!!!!!!!!

What a crazy week and a half!!! I had days I lived at the airport!

I have decided that the arrival of the students is my favorite part of my job! What an amazing feeling to see them come off the plane and smile because someone on the other side of the world knows them and is waiting for them.

I also loved giving them to their new families. I think I have the best job in the world!

New Year!

I am very excited to begin my new journey in student placement with CETUSA! We have had many students in our home over the years and recently not been able to due to the overcrowding of our local high school. This will allow me to enjoy these amazing kids from all over the world!

This year I have found 11 families. It has earned me and my sweetheart a trip to Italy later in the fall!!!

I can't wait to meet all of the students and work with these loving families!

Flights begin next week!!!
